to help franchise organizations establish and implement goals
in a changing environment.
The process includes an emphasis on the following aspects
of the process:
- Developing and examining the organization's mission (purpose)
with an emphasis on the future vision, values, principles,
standards, beliefs, and actions that the organization will
represent
- Cross-functionally develop goals and objectives, along
with actionable plans
- Utilize available organizational data and diagnose main
issues/challenges
- Assess major issues and trends taking place in the external
environment of the organization and how they may impact
the future
- Assess organizational strengths and opportunities in
terms of their implications for organizational success
- Develop action plans and outlooks based on researched
information and assign responsibility within the organization
- Monitor and evaluate progress and correct where necessary
