We use the term whole-brain or accelerated learning to define
a style of learning environment that promotes learning at
a faster rate, with higher assimilation and integration of
information and an increased ability to retrieve and use information
on demand. A primary goal of creating an accelerated learning
context is to get people turned on to lifelong learning
which happens because of how much fun the learning process
is.
At the EQ ADVANTAGE® all of our work, whether it be training
programs, client consulting, or printed/digital curricula,
is structured to stimulate and engage:
- both the left and right sides of the brain.
- a wide variety of learning styles.
- the wholistic human being physical, emotional,
psychological, spiritual and interpersonal aspects.
To do this we pull from a tool kit of technologies that include:
- Three Step Learning Model
- experiential simulations
- languaging and communication techniques
- mental, tactile and emotional experiences
- visualization and meditation
- operating agreements
- use of colour and visual imaging
- mental, tactile and emotional experiences
At the EQ ADVANTAGE® our whole-brain environments focus
on eliminating the fear- based barriers to learning and assisting
participants to embrace a philosophy which holds that everything
in life is intricately integrated, in constant motion (change),
inevitably affected by the thoughts and actions each of us
have.
