Lisa
Matheson, President
Lisa offers clients the value of more than 20 years
experience in developing EQ SMART internal marketing and communications
programs and systems.
Lisa consults with corporate businesses, not-for-profit and
government organizations in the development of EQ SMART
accelerated training programs and communication materials.
She is a recognized expert in the practical application of
accelerated learning techniques in training environments and
regularly consults with large organizations to develop trainer
skills and leadership abilities. Her skills as a speaker,
combined with her practical knowledge and understanding of
the learning process provide the basis for impactful, successful,
results-getting programs.
Lisa is also co-author of a series of whole-brain
curricula for life skills development and substance abuse
recovery.

Dr. Cheryl Clark, PhD
Cheryl, one of the most brilliant thinkers we know. She holds
a Doctor of Philosophy in Health and Human Services and is an
internationally recognized expert in creating accelerated educational
and treatment programs for youths and adults with a specialization
in Substance Abuse Treatment, Shock Incarceration and Boot Camp
programs. Ms. Clark has designed, developed and directed innovative
therapeutic milieu programs that are national models for offender
treatment in criminal justice and juvenile justice systems.
In addition to her work in corrections, Ms.
Clark works with the EQ ADVANTAGE team to design and deliver
customized EQ programs designed to improve employee skills
and productivity in government, law enforcement, education,
and human service agencies.

Supt. Ron Moscicki
Ron offers a unique view of leadership in his role as Supervising
Superintendent for the largest Shock Incarceration program
in North America. Supt. Moscicki is an international authority
in the development and management of Shock Incarceration/Boot
Camp operations and is an expert in crisis intervention and
emergency Response Systems. Supt. Moscicki acts as a consultant
to state and local criminal justice agencies, with a focus
on developing leadership and management skills in corrections,
one of the toughest environments possible. His work with the
EQ ADVANTAGE provides clients with a unique opportunity to
reframe their understanding of what it takes to stand out
as a great leader.

Barbara Frensel
Barbara is a key consultant and facilitator who specializes
in transforming sales cultures, by bringing passion, enthusiasm
and a love for learning into business.
In 1983 Barbara founded a retail company based on the belief
that the customer and only the customer would determine the
future. In the first year of operation revenue exceeded projections
by 300%. Over the next 15 years the company grew into a multi-million
dollar organization which consistently generated sales three
times that of industry standard. She attributes her success
to building a sales team that was emphatically and relentlessly
customer-centric.
Barbara now uses her years of hands on experience to help
organizations increase revenue and market share through the
power of people. She aligns companies from the inside out
so that core values and vision, service philosophy, customer
needs and marketing strategy are built into the sales process.
The result is a 'branded' sales experience that consistently
communicates value to the marketplace. Her goal is to help
companies capture the hearts of their customers by delivering
an authentic sales and service experience.
Over the past four years Barbara has inspired and mentored
sales managers and professionals from the manufacturing, technology,
service and retail sectors and has consulted with over 150
companies to develop their sales and marketing strategies.
She is known for her clear, focused approach and an ability

Shelly Gorchynski,
RN, BSc, MA
Shelly brings extensive experience to the development and
implementation of customer service and healthcare training
initiatives. In her most recent capacity, Shelly has acted
as Vice President of Operations for an international provider
of employee assistance programs, with responsibilities that
include managing a team responsible for EAP delivery, including
a 24/7 clinical services call centre supplying counselling
services provided by 1,200 professionals across North America,
development of internal and external training programs, general
operations of the organization, and new product development.
Shelly has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, which
provides a valuable framework for understanding individual,
group and organizational behavior. Early training as a Registered
Nurse adds to her knowledge and credibility in working with
health care providers.
Completion of a program in adult education and training from
St. Francis Xavier University provides Shelly with a solid
understanding of processes and tools for: conducting in-depth
needs analysis; establishing measurable learning objectives;
designing and delivering training programs incorporating principles
of adult learning; program evaluation; and learning transfer
measurement.
Shelly has worked with numerous organizations to assess their
training needs, and to design and deliver customized training
programs over a broad range of human relations topics. She
is a well-respected presenter with superior facilitation skills.
Her programs are known to be informative, encouraging and
highly interactive and are consistently endorsed with positive
reviews from participants.

Christi Lindensmith
Christi is an integral part of the strong foundation of The
EQ ADVANTAGE organization. In a support capacity she assists
with the development and deployment of marketing initiatives,
the coordination and logistical support of our customized
training programs and the ongoing development and maintenance
of our web site.
Christi's past work experience both in the private and public
sector has exposed her to various business environments and
has provided her with a good understanding of the various
organizational challenges. This experience drives Christi's
passion to support our team in working with similar organizations
to enable them to overcome these challenges while offering
innovative strategies for development.

Valerie Wallis
Valerie is the glue that holds us together. Her strong organizational
skills along with her strong work ethic guarantees that our
projects stay on schedule and are completed to the highest
quality and detail. She manages our accounting, customer relations
and office administration functions and is the key lead in
coordinating and organizing our corporate conference and conventions.
Valerie has worked in various organizations, both locally
and internationally, where her involvement in event management
and public relations developed and fine tuned her attention
to detail that always far exceeds customer expectations. Her
